Goa

Leah - After a hectic few days in Mumbai we flew to Goa where we were met with torrential rain! We stayed in the capital of Goa, Panjim for a couple of nights eating more fantastic curry. Marc and I seem to be born vegetarians as we haven't missed meat at all!
Crazy scaffolding in Mumbai

Caught some very crowded local buses to the North of Goa (Palolem in the South was abandoned due to the bad weather), and arrived in Vagator to sunshine.

Found a nice place to stay for the week and hired a scooter and braved the Indian roads! Fortunately Marc is an expert after our previous travels in Asia.

Beach, curry and beer, what more could we ask for?

  5. Marc, Erich's persistent tutoring has obviously come in useful on India's roads. I wouldn't have done it that way though. Glad you're enjoying yourself dudes, keep up the blogging! Martin
